Riverkings have been busy volunteering this Holiday season! Coach Quarters believes in giving more than you receive, and with the all the support we get from the community we feel it is our responsibility to get out and volunteer. The boys have been ringing bells this season for the Salvation Army! Some of the boys were able to volunteer at the Biron Community Hall to help serve food and dance with members of the community with disabilities put on by Wood County Association of Handicapped. Rowdy was even able to help out! Jordan Stear (Frisco, TX) was one of the Riverkings that attended, he said, “It was great to be able to hang out and get to know some of our fans that support us!” The Riverkings also attended the Rockin Around the Christmas Tree Charity Gala for Toys for Tots! Captain Raymond Fleming (Sammamish, WA) commented on the event saying, “It was a great feeling being able to give back to the kids in need around town!” The Riverkings are thankful for all the support of the community and enjoy being able to give thanks in the form of giving back as we continue to build hockey up and down the river! #SeasonFiveLookAlive
